My name is Torsten, and I founded this company in 2021 as a way of staying busy in retirement and sobriety. I had no idea it would evolve into a new passion for me, especially in guitar craftsmanship. I have been playing guitar since I was 10. My father, a musical genius and composer, passed his love of music on to me, and I have never strayed far from playing. From garage bands to performing on the legendary stages of the Sunset Strip in Hollywood and Orange County, CA, during the early 80s, I was able to share my craft with fellow rockers like Metallica, Great White, RATT, and Poison—some of the great hair bands of the time. Like so many, I struggled with drugs and alcoholism, but the music I continued to play was my constant. All material possessions vanished, whether lost or given away. After years in recovery, I am proud to say that I have managed to amass quite a few 24's without any mind-altering substances. Honesty and integrity guide me every day, and I work hard in guitar manufacturing, standing behind my product and our business practices as if my life depended on it—because it literally does.
